Temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite is one of four labeled indications on icoone®‘s two FDA-cleared configurations — Laser Beauty under 510(k) K182453 and Laser-Med under 510(k) K211272. That single sentence is what you may claim, on those two models, in the United States. This guide covers the indication, the programs behind it, and how to write the menu.

What exactly is cleared, and on which models?

icoone® Laser Beauty (K182453) and icoone® Laser-Med (K211272) are cleared for four labeled indications, stated verbatim: relief of minor muscle aches and pain; relief of muscle spasms; temporary improvement of local blood circulation; temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite. Nothing else. Not permanence, not measurement, not a timeline.

The non-laser icoone® Beauty and icoone® Medical configurations and the Microfacial carry no FDA wording at all — they are positioned as cosmetic aesthetic devices. All icoone® configurations are CE marked and built under ISO 13485 by I-Tech Industries in Bologna, Italy. The full model-by-model map is in the scope guide.

What is the device doing during the session?

Roboderm® Multi Micro Alveolar Stimulation. Up to 21,600 microstimulations a minute across a microstimulator surface that is 86% micro-holes, patented in 2008 by Dr. Gianfranco Tudico of I-Tech Industries and inspired by Prof. Jean-Claude Guimberteau’s work on the microvacuolar structure of connective tissue. On laser configurations, a 915 nm laser and 650 nm LED are added to the platform. It is non-thermal, works on every skin type, and needs no downtime — which is why the sessions book as a series rather than an event. The mechanism is explained in full in the Roboderm® guide.

Which programs sit on a cellulite-appearance menu?

i-Tech’s body menu includes cellulite, reshaping, drain, tightening, stretch marks and relaxing massage; Beauty and Laser Beauty carry 24 programmes, Medical and Laser-Med carry 40. In practice a cellulite-appearance menu item is built the same way as any other icoone® session: a 20-minute Base full-body pass with the paired Robotwins in two-hand symmetrical application, then 10-minute Focus blocks on the zones the client came in for, inside a 40 to 60-minute slot. i-Tech’s named protocols map onto it directly — Perfect Shape 60’ and Body Glow 60’ are the obvious anchors, with Detox Express 40’ as the shorter option.

Cadence matters more than length. i-Tech’s protocol structure runs sessions two to three times a week in a series. Price the series, not the single. Sessions retail at $150–$350 per i-Tech.

What does i-Tech report on outcomes?

Attributed to i-Tech Industries clinical evaluations: up to 79% faster cytokine clearance after the first session, +15% improvement in skin elasticity, +77% increase in microvascularization and tissue oxygenation (Biomeca), and −20% reduction in tissue inflammation. Those are manufacturer figures and should always be quoted with that attribution and with “up to” where it appears. Individual results vary.

i-Tech also maintains a before-and-after archive covering the appearance of cellulite, remodelling and firming. It is manufacturer material, useful in a consultation binder, and it should carry attribution wherever you show it. Ask DNA Distribution for the current archive during a fit call.

How do I word the menu without overreaching?

Three rules cover almost every case.

Use the cleared sentence, unchanged. “Temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite” is the phrase. Do not upgrade “appearance” to “reduction of cellulite”, and do not attach a duration or a number of sessions to it.

Sell the session, not a promise. Describe what the client experiences: robotic microstimulation, two hands at once, 21,600 microstimulations a minute, non-thermal, no downtime, 40 to 60 minutes, a body suit, a series of two to three a week. This is specific, verifiable and far more persuasive than an outcome claim.

Match the language to the model on your floor. If you bought a non-laser Beauty, the cleared sentence is not yours to use — your menu is cosmetic aesthetic. If you bought Laser Beauty or Laser-Med, the four indications apply, and only those four.

A workable menu line: “Cellulite Appearance Programme — 60 minutes. icoone® Laser Beauty, FDA 510(k) K182453, indicated for temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite. Robotic Roboderm® microstimulation with two-hand application. Recommended as a series, two to three sessions weekly.”

How do I run the consultation?

Set expectations before the first session, not after the third. A workable structure takes about ten minutes: ask what the client wants to look different and in what timeframe; explain what the session physically is — robotic microstimulation, two hands at once, a body suit, non-thermal, no downtime; state the indication in the cleared words if you are on a laser model; and then explain the cadence, because that is the part that determines whether the client is happy in a month.

Two things belong in every consultation. First, the series, not the single — two to three sessions a week is the structure i-Tech built, so a client leaving with one appointment has effectively bought a demo. Second, honesty about variability: individual results vary, and a practice that says so up front is a practice clients trust when they come back. A short consultation form that maps the client’s stated goal to a programme and a booked series is worth more than any brochure.

What does the business side look like?

Consumables: body sessions use a client body suit, so there are no tips, cartridges or applicators to replace. That is what makes series pricing viable — a discount comes out of margin you have, not out of a per-session part cost. Illustratively, three sessions a day at $250 across 26 operating days is $19,500 of billings against a ≈ $1,860 payment on a Laser Beauty; those are planning figures only, not a forecast. The ROI guide runs the same structure across the catalogue.

Scarcity is real leverage here. Fewer than 100 icoone® devices are installed in the United States, against 7,000+ centers in 40+ countries worldwide per i-Tech, in residence at properties including Four Seasons, Ritz-Carlton, Dior Spa at The Lana in Dubai and Mandarin Oriental. If yours is the first in your metro, the menu item is genuinely unavailable elsewhere.

Questions buyers ask

Is icoone® FDA-cleared for cellulite?

+

Two configurations are. icoone® Laser Beauty under 510(k) K182453 and icoone® Laser-Med under 510(k) K211272 are cleared for four labeled indications, one of which is temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite. The non-laser Beauty and Medical models and the Microfacial carry no FDA wording.

What are the four labeled indications?

+

Relief of minor muscle aches and pain; relief of muscle spasms; temporary improvement of local blood circulation; temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite. Those four sentences are the scope of the clearance on K182453 and K211272 — your menu and advertising should stay inside them.

Which model do I need for the cleared indication?

+

A laser configuration: icoone® Laser Beauty at $85,000 (≈ $1,860/mo) or icoone® Laser-Med at $89,000 (≈ $1,948/mo). Both add a 915 nm laser and 650 nm LED to the Roboderm® platform. Monthly figures assume 60 months, $0 down, qualified buyers, subject to approval.

How should I word a cellulite menu item?

+

Use the cleared language: temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite. Describe the session — Roboderm® microstimulation, two-hand application, 40 to 60 minutes, series of two to three a week — and the client's experience. Do not promise measurements, timelines or permanence.

Are there before-and-after images available?

+

i-Tech maintains a before-and-after archive covering cellulite appearance, remodelling and firming. Images are manufacturer material and should be presented with attribution; individual results vary, and DNA Distribution can point you to the current archive during a fit call.
