icoone® in San Antonio: Market Notes for Luxury Texas Spas
San Antonio resort and med spa notes on icoone®: five prices from $58,000 to $89,000, a luxury hotel installed base, and fewer than 100 U.S. devices.

San Antonio has two spa economies running side by side — a resort and hotel economy fed by River Walk and Hill Country tourism, and a residential luxury economy in Alamo Heights, Terrell Hills, Stone Oak and The Dominion. icoone® is one of the few platforms that serves both from a single room. It is a robotic microstimulation device from i-Tech Industries, sold in five configurations from $58,000 to $89,000, with fewer than 100 units installed in the U.S.
Why does the resort side of this market matter so much?
Because resort spa revenue is same-day revenue. A guest at a Hill Country or La Cantera-area property books in the morning for that afternoon, and anything requiring recovery, redness or a follow-up visit is unsellable to her. icoone® fits that constraint precisely: no downtime, every skin type, suitable for daily use, and a session that ends with the guest dressed and back on the property.
That is also why the platform reads correctly on a luxury menu. The i-Tech reference wall of properties where icoone® is installed worldwide includes Four Seasons, The Ritz-Carlton, Dior Spa at The Lana in Dubai, Mandarin Oriental, Aman, Six Senses, The Peninsula, St. Regis, Belmond, Waldorf Astoria and Dorchester Collection. Those are installations reported by the manufacturer, not DNA Distribution clients — but for a San Antonio director presenting a capital request to a management company, an international five-star installed base is the argument that lands.
i-Tech also publishes protocol names your menu can license — Detox Express 40’, Jet Lag Recover 40’, Instant Well Being 20’, Relaxing Retreat 50’, Time Stop Face 30’. Jet Lag Recover, in particular, writes itself on a conference-hotel menu in a convention city.
What does the residential side want instead?
Results-language menus and rebooking. Alamo Heights and Stone Oak clients are buying the same categories they would in Dallas or Austin, and the metro’s aesthetic supply is dominated by injectables plus the familiar roller menu. The i-Tech face menu covers anti-ageing, wrinkles, firming, defatiguing, toning, exfoliant and illuminating; the body menu covers the appearance of cellulite, reshaping, drain, stretch marks, scars, tightening, relaxing massage and pregnancy. That is a course-based menu, which is what turns a walk-in into a package.
The Microfacial deserves separate attention for a facial-led San Antonio practice: 22 programmes, 21 face protocols, 17 handpieces and applicators, seven zones from forehead to hands, and the ICO-ONE skincare line that runs in-cabin and as a home line — retail revenue inside the same appointment.
What are the five prices and which one fits?
| Model | Price | ≈ monthly (60 mo, $0 down, qualified) | Fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| icoone® Microfacial | $58,000 | ≈ $1,269/mo | Facial-led spas, plus ICO-ONE retail |
| icoone® Beauty | $79,000 | ≈ $1,730/mo | Resort spas needing face and body |
| icoone® Laser Beauty | $85,000 | ≈ $1,860/mo | Adds 915 nm laser + 650 nm LED |
| icoone® Medical | $87,000 | ≈ $1,904/mo | Clinics and therapy practices |
| icoone® Laser-Med | $89,000 | ≈ $1,948/mo | Flagship medical configuration |
Founders’ 25 currently brings the Microfacial to $50,000, ≈ $1,095/mo. Financing runs through Brickhouse Financial as a 60-month equipment term loan, $0 down for qualified buyers, around 11.3% APR, subject to applicant and provider approval — see financing and icoone® cost.
Regulatory scope, stated plainly: icoone® Laser Beauty is cleared under FDA 510(k) K182453 and Laser-Med under K211272, for four labeled indications — relief of minor muscle aches and pain; relief of muscle spasms; temporary improvement of local blood circulation; temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite. The non-laser Beauty and Medical configurations and the Microfacial carry no FDA wording.
Does the math work at Texas resort pricing?
i-Tech reports icoone® sessions retailing between $150 and $350. Resort menus sit high in that band and residential med spas mid-band. On 26 operating days, an illustrative two sessions a day at $250 produces $13,000 in monthly billings against a ≈ $1,730 payment on icoone® Beauty; at $250, roughly seven sessions a month cover the payment. Those are planning figures before staffing and rent, illustrative only.
The line that survives every scenario is consumables. Body sessions use a client body suit — no tips, cartridges or applicators to replace — and the Microfacial has no cartridges or disposables. A resort spa running six sessions a day feels that difference in a way a low-volume room never does. The full structure is on the ROI guide.
Where does Cryoskin® fit alongside it?
Cryoskin® Revolution is the complementary session line, and it is the easier same-day booking of the two. It is a cryo-thermal aesthetic spa device made in Lyon, France by Cryoskin® Paris, running 20–28-minute body, skin and facial sessions as a relaxing warm-and-cool experience — no suction cups, no downtime, skin that looks firmer, smoother and more radiant. There are no consumables; routine operation uses low-cost conductive gel. Clients love it and rebook. It is installed on 210+ luxury cruise ships through OneSpaWorld across 21 cruise lines, at Harrods and at House of Elemis in London, with 5,000+ devices in 50+ countries per the manufacturer — a cruise and department-store pedigree that translates directly to a Texas resort menu. Dynamic is $39,990 (≈ $875/mo); the Full Unit with static pads is $59,990 (≈ $1,313/mo). See Cryoskin® and icoone® vs Cryoskin®.
What should a San Antonio buyer do next?
Ask about territory first. Fewer than 100 icoone® devices exist in the United States, and in most markets the first icoone® practice is still open — a genuinely unusual position for equipment with 7,000+ centers behind it in 40+ countries. San Antonio is a large metro with room for more than one installation, but the first one sets the reference price.
Then compare on menu, not on spec sheet. Start at the icoone® hub or the aesthetic range, read icoone® vs endermologie if the roller menu is your competition, and check the 90-Day Launch Program terms — pay full price and we fund your first 90 days of ads and marketing, $10,000 in program value, until 30 booked paying clients or 90 days, whichever comes first. Then book a discovery call.
Questions buyers ask
Why does icoone® suit a resort or hotel spa?
+
Because it books same-day. Sessions have no downtime, work on every skin type and are suitable for daily use, so a guest can book in the afternoon and go to dinner. i-Tech's reference wall of properties with icoone® installed worldwide includes Four Seasons, The Ritz-Carlton, Mandarin Oriental, Aman, St. Regis and Waldorf Astoria.
What does an icoone® cost in Texas?
+
The same five prices nationwide: Microfacial $58,000, Beauty $79,000, Laser Beauty $85,000, Medical $87,000, Laser-Med $89,000 — roughly $1,269 to $1,948 per month on a 60-month equipment term loan, $0 down for qualified buyers, subject to applicant and provider approval.
How saturated is the San Antonio market for this category?
+
The endermologie-style roller menu is widely available across the metro; icoone® is not. Fewer than 100 icoone® devices are installed in the United States against thousands of units in the older category, and in most markets the first icoone® practice is still open.
Can a San Antonio spa run both icoone® and Cryoskin®?
+
Many do, because they answer different requests. icoone® is the longer robotic microstimulation appointment; Cryoskin® Revolution is a 20–28-minute cryo-thermal session line at $39,990 or $59,990. DNA Distribution is the exclusive North American distributor of Cryoskin® and an authorized U.S. distributor of icoone®.
